Out of production rifles you'd like to see brought back...

For those wanting a martini-Henry there's a maker in the US that makes new ones with some nice features. These are custom orders but with a very nice pricetag considering what you are getting!

How about a martini in 307 winchester ? Or 7,62x54R ?

Damko is the name of the shop they have a nice website! Too bad that no importer are here in Canada

I'd like to see a run of Brno model 21/22 in 7x57 or 243 with a 20 inch barrel. Of course it would cost 10+ G's today. We can only dream, as CZ has been taken over by American style bean counters.

So what's your point?

If the sales aren't there, they won't build it.

For the most part, what we are interested in here on CGN will not represent what will sell in the general market. On top of that, I would hazard a guess that sales of new guns is a shrinking market thanks to trudeau and a very defined culture change in the last 50yrs. We are becoming city dwelling, non-hunters.

Problem is most Canadian are cheap when it comes to firearms, they are not willing to open their wallets up. So retailers bring in low quality and low cost firearms. Quantity over quality is a common theme.

I think the problem most people don't known any better, and will pick whatever is suggested to them...
- there are a number of dealers that seem to do good for themselves, pushing quality firearms
