hi, like a lot of ppl, i am trying to round out my collection before the curtain falls and we have to wait for the next election to buy new guns again.

I am looking for a GSG 1911 .22, or the Sig Sauer 1911 .22 (same gun basically) or a GSG 1911 .22 conversion kit to use on my existing 1911 9mm.

I've probably googled every supplier in every province from the Pacific to the Atlantic. Very little joy. I

t seems virtually everything is out of stock/sold out/wish listed (how long do wishes take ?!).

One shop said maybe they're getting restocked in June, but if the new rules are being dropped on us on 07 june, that seems sort of pointless. I heard some noise saying that if you made your purchase by the 7th, your transfer will be processed eventually... otherwise...

So, does anybody have a line on a shop that actually has any of this stuff in stock? (yes, i am ok with used, too, but ####### and townpost are also pretty thin & everything's selling like hotcakes)

thx for the help!

I saw a couple while clicking around yesterday, can't remember where though sorry. I'll post here if I see anything today.

Try a WTB ad in the EE. In my personal experience, the GSG 1911 22lr was great for practicing failures..

Lots on ####### theast few weeks but pricey and lots of scammers on that site..
Been buying and selling on there a few years but you have to bec careful

Good, inexpensive first gun. Nice thing is the life-time warranty.
I called them on it when my slide wouldn't lock up all the time due to wear and they replaced the slide no questions asked.
It likes to be worn in with high-velocity loads but later will work with most 22 LR loads.

Bought mine a couple days pre announcement at a sponsor site (FOC). It was $469 pre tax. Got it for a black badge practice gun that is cheap on ammo. Came in the mail last week but no time to try it out yet. Prob will next week.
