100% the Sig Romeo 5. I have owned both. Shake awake and battery life. It's no contest.

Thanks guys. Just bought the Sig. At $199. it was just to good to pass up. This will be the last major purchase foe awhile. Need to take a breath and deal with a lack of time on my revolvers and wringing out the FX9.

You made a great choice and this is a great price. I got all mine (6) for $219.99 to $239.99 + tax and I still found that to be good value. So @ $199, that is a steal of a deal, considering what you are getting.

The Romeo5 is often on sale at cabelas for $179. Yesterday it was on at that price for Wild Wednesday.

Romeo gets my vote!

'Unfortunately for us who have migrated to the Left Coast they attract and additional 7% Sales Tax. Still it would have been a bit cheaper thru Cabellas. Some dealers outside of BC do not charge the Provincial Tax others do. Go for the Romeo5 it seems to be an excellent option based on users opinion. I plan to put the Sig on my FX9 and move the Strickefire back to my Kidon Kit.

Sig Romeo 5 is a great red dot...Ive used it with zero issues!! The shake awake function is a great touch.

Both of mine came with the high mount installed and a low mount in the box.

I have four Vortex red dots and they all work perfectly. I had an original Vortex Sparc die after three years of use. Vortex sent me a newer version, the Sparc11 and it remains in service on one of my PCC's. Other than that the Venom, Crossfire, 2xSparc11 and a Strikefire have proven to be reliable and functional.

I suspect the Sig Romeo5 will be equally serviceable. It arrives today so despite the rain it should be banging away late this afternoon. Not sure which PCC will get the new sight. I know where I would like to put it but .....
