Just got back from gathering up my tree stands this morning and some F*&KER grabbed two of my tree stands. I used them right up until new years eve for archery hunting and I havent had a chance till now to get them. Went out at first lite this morning to call for some coyote's and then made my way around to there locations and they were both gone:(. I dont own the property were they are at but I do have written permission from the land owner to have them there.
Worst part is one of them was a friends and now I have to replace the damn thing. What a pain in my a$$:runaway:

Done venting now.

the thieving pricks eh..we have the same problem even on our own private property..they steal any thing they see..let hope they use your stands and fall out of them, landing on there heads

Same sh1t happened to me several years ago, they stole 2 of the 3 stands I had out. They are very lucky I didn't catch them in the act... What amazes me is they are stealing from someone they "know" will be coming into that spot armed... Idiots...

Cheers
Jay

This is the second time! I had a 300 dollar climber stolen two years ago from a different spot and it was chained and locked. Thats okay, I am putting another one up there with the game cam hidden in near proximity. I'll teach these F$$Kers a lesson yet.

Then they will get the tree stand and a game camera!:stirthepot2::dancingbanana:

Sorry John, it had to be said though.

Hope you do find the individuals.

If they saw down trees there are ways to prevent that too.

For those who think of this be sure to do this in a place where an innocent person won't be affected.

I still have one out too! I'm gonna get it this coming weekend. If it's still there. Dirty ba*tards. I hope they do fall out of them when they try and use them. Sorry to hear that.

Dave.

I forgot to say that my solution to having my treestands stolen is to carry my stand in and put it up each time I hunt. I have also hidden my stand in the woods so I didn't have to carry it, but that means risking loosing it if someone "finds" it...

I personally go for the Singapore canning... I think it has great potential for deterring crime...

Cheers

When your trailcam captures their pictures, we go find them and they can spend a few days in an expensive place where they get waited on hand and foot..........

I have no respect for thieves. Cowardly scum that need a beating. No excuses, no misunderstanding, no reason, no begging for mercy.

With any luck, they will fall out of it next season and fogducker will come across their remains.........lol

My dad caught three guys smashing up our little cabin one night. They had broken down the door, broke the window, hacked out cupboard with an ax and broke grandfathers coal oil lamp.

Dad left those 3 guys lying in the field, -15C, and broke their gearshift off their truck.

Dad called the RCMP and told them where he left them. My uncle Buster drove to the farm first to make sure dad hadnt killed any of them.

RCMP and ambulance got all 3. I remember dad coming home without his muskrat hat. He had lost it there in the melee. I found it the next day. And I also found a lot of evidence of bleeding, although my dad was just fine.........

Decades later, we havent lost so much as a piece of firewood.

Now I don't always condone violence to solve matters, but dad's way sure worked that time.

and I NEVER messed with my dad.

That is what should happen to people who mess with other peoples stuff

Yep, a good spanking for the right reasons goes a long way.
