Where to find GSG 1911 magazines?

Maybe IRG can import some for you although their American site shows none in stock.
The authorized importer (who also doesn't have any) is Blue Line.
Maybe the hand gun run caused everyone to buy up mags as well.

The run on handguns has also caused a run on anything handgun related. Trigger locks and cases are also in short supply.

riflemags.co.uk was out of stock for the standard base plate ones when I looked a couple weeks ago so I ordered one from my previous link at guns-r-us.co.uk on June 23. (they are out of stock now too)
They took the $ immediately but haven't heard anything since, no email saying it was shipped.
I haven't sent an email asking about it either though, so I'll just wait and see.
Maybe it's sitting at Can. customs with them studying it to see if it's for a missile launcher system :p.

Same for me. I got an an email on the 24th stating that my order has been processed and would be shipping soon. Nothing from them since.

I just sent them an email asking the status of my order, has it been shipped and if so when was it shipped and is there any tracking info for it. I assume that I will have to wait until next week to get a response.

Normally you can't track international orders if coming via mail. Duty is collected by the post office when you pick up.

I ordered mine via riflemags last month. Got a shipping and tracking number right away and was able to track the item from source to door via Royal Mail and then Canada Post with the same tracking number. The original track said "deliver international" and a day or 2 later the description was "arrived at destination country"

No duty or brokerage was collected by anyone. I think we (CDN) made some sort of a trade agreement with the UK since Brexit that eliminated duty up to a certain value.

Yes I can second that. My order from riflemags was ordered PST midnight and when I woke up status was changed to shipped.
Tracking was provided and it worked on Canada post tracking.
Just got it cleared 1/2 day sitting in CBSA and no duty.
From order to delivery taking 7 days.

Coupling it (unfortunately LBP version) with Dlask’s Gsg1911 magazine base plate as I am quite happy with Dlask base.

I just got off the phone with guns-r-us….. all of their shipments of magazines are being returned to them by Canada Customs. Apparently we can no longer order magazines from UK. They are working on refunding my order.

Well, damn it.
Sent two emails to guns-r-us at two different email addresses, neither answered.
Was going to contest the purchase through VISA but will now just wait & see about a refund.

In the mean time I got impatient and ordered one magazine from riflemags with the LBP base two days ago.
Guess I'll see what happens with that one.

From what I see nothing regulatory has changed about importing magazines from the UK so I don't get what CBSA is legally doing.
Other than being liberal bootlicking a**holes.
Maybe guns-r-us didn't show/provide proper declaration/paperwork on the package?
Whatever, this country is beyond pathetic.

Try Bullseye North. They still have 4 in stock as of now.
Thanks Gindryden & kwiebe, was able to buy one from Bullseye :)

edited to add:
whatever folks do, do not bother trying to buy a magazine from the UK now.
the one I bought from guns-r-us disappeared with no refund, no doubt seized CBSA.
the one I bought from riflemags.co.uk was instantly seized by CBSA for review too and will probably disappear with no refund as well.
$112 pissed away over one damn perfectly legal magazine.
expensive lesson learned about CBSA wrongfully punishing firearms owners with made up rules and for me to be more patient and wait for some to show up at canadian vendors.

Dont give up on the riflemags yet. Mine arrived and spent 4 days with custom before getting released. Mind you I went back to the tracking info and see that it arrived on July 1 and was released on July 5 so it was there through the July 1 long weekend and maybe slipped through due to staffing, non diligence by summer staff etc.

Will see what CBSA does, for the last one it's only been seized for a few days.
The first one was mailed June 23 with no tracking info and has disappeared.
I have a suspicion that CBSA management wants currently legal items like pistol magazines to be held until late fall to see if their liberal masters institute a capacity change.
I have no respect for CBSA managements anti-firearms agenda, they come across as just more liberal bureaucrat bootlickers.

canadian vendors will trickle more in I figure now, I should have just waited longer working around dodging the magazine hogs.
I was an idiot and ended up spending $175 just to end up with one magazine, which is all I wanted.
Should have just bought a different model GSG 1911 from Prophet River
