what is the average wage for a front counter sales person in this type of business? Just curious 15-20?, 20-30?

I've been told gunsmiths make up to around 40 but no idea on sales.

I’d do it for free if I could buy goodies at cost:d and Clay kept me in coffee and snacks with a single malt shooter near closing time:p Oh, no winter months, I hate the cold.

That's the problem with a gun nut working at a gun store, you'd be at a net loss at the end of every month compared to how much you made...but you'd have some nice toys! :)

*waits for the people with no intention of applying to complain about a lack of salary notes*

This whole forum is dedicated to a hobby.. yet still you need to be told to find one?

You're not slick, boomer posting. Prophet river stated their range specifically to avoid the fiasco dumb a-holes like you tend to stir up.

Which by the way, much respect for Prohpet River for not playing that game and flat out answering what they compensate. Much respect.

P.S.

It will never cease to amaze me that the first people to sh*t on those concerned with pay ranges are also those that are currently free to sit on the internet and absolutely rush to post dumb mud slinging in this thread.

We get it, you're retired and made 90k as a milk man back in '66. The world has changed, you clearly don't understand what its like to be in the first generation to achieve a lower standard of living than the last. Enjoy it, while you can.
