One year ago today, horseman2 (Mel) took the initiative and made a firm proposal to begin a 100 yard (or meters) .22LR challenge. That challenge officially began August 1, 2021. Mel tells me that unfortunately this year time doesn't permit him to continue running the challenge he created, but he welcomes a new challenge being run in it's place.
As a result, I'm willing to do a 2022 version of the challenge. I will not be participating/entering.
The same rules adopted by horseman2 are proposed for this year's 100 Yards/Meters .22LR Challenge.
Without including all the details in this post, the basic requirement is shooting three ten-shot groups at 100 yards at the same target (which itself has four bulls), with a three group average as the overall goal of the target. For more details about the rules or requirements, see the links at the bottom of this post.
This isn't meant as a competition. Except for the requirement that all shots be within a 3" circle on the target, there is no minimum size requirement. It's meant as an opportunity for shooters to try their best and post the results. Shooters can make as many submissions as they want, so long as they are an improvement over their previous targets. Participants may try different rifles.
This thread is not itself the challenge thread. It's only to gauge interest. If there is enough interest, I'll begin a new thread specifically for the 100 yard .22LR challenge.

Target concerns.
Last year some shooters indicated they would have been happy to give the challenge a try, but were unable to get the targets, which shall be on at 65 lb cardstock. It's worth noting that photocopy-type of paper is too prone to tearing to be used.
To encourage participation, I will make available at no cost to interested and serious shooters up to eight targets. For practical reasons this offer will be initially limited to the first ten readers who indicate they wish to give the 100 yard challenge a try.
Please indicate below if you are interested in this challenge. For those interested in the free targets, provide a mailing address to me by PM. They would be mailed to you beginning the first week of August. If there is insufficient interest, the challenge will not take place.

The official rules for the challenge are here in post #1 https://www.canadiangunnutz.com/for...0614-100-Yards-Metres-22-Long-Rifle-Challenge
Suggestions for changes to the rules may be made.
