finally came in yesterday, I purchased sight unseen 11th jun based on internet talk and let me just say super pleased with fit and finish.

But the trigger, damn, puts my shadow systems to SHAME.

no range time yet, but if the rumours are true, I will be very happy. Already looking into buying another!

Pics when I get home, just wanted to share my experience so far.

Ellwood Epps had a great price, better than anybody else, and the service was excellent, reference number within 24hrs. Highly recommend.

And lastly, thanks to the CGNr who messaged me to let me know where to buy, since I missed out with everybody else at the time.
 
Sold my Glock 17 after I shot my mete. It’s such a great pistol for the price, just wish mags were easier to come by.

That's a lot of good news! I just bought the SFx Rival from Wolverine, can't wait to get it out to the range. Maybe meet up to try them out against eachother!

They are made in Turkey at a state of the art facility and it shows. These guys are bit of under dogs in the community still but I suspect that won't be for long.

Also I am 1/4 Turkish but that didn't influence my decision.

Regarding mags I am Reading that Walther pdp mags are compatible, I could be wrong though.

The Rival is ridiculously good, my buddy has 4 Caniks, he has been shooting the Rival in IDPA etc for the last month, unbelievably nice trigger. I bought his Elite Combat from him about 6 weeks ago and it has replaced my G19 lately, and I’m a hardcore Glock lover.
The Elite Combat is just a winner, everything about it works for me and I’m quickly becoming a Canik fan. Congrats on your purchase, I’ve had my finger on the buy button for about a week now on a Rival, just calculating if the wife will be mad or angry, big difference lol

Congrats on the purchase, the SFX is very nice, super accurate and soft shooting, you will absolutely love it :)

I'm waiting for my first Canik, METE SFT, should be here in a day or two. Unfortunately, I don't believe mine accepts optics so I had to order a Walther PDP Full Size 4.5" Optic Ready. Itchin to try a red dot .

The last shipment of Caniks didn’t seem to have any Combat Elites included unfortunately, I’ve been looking for a backup to the one I have, no luck so far. I could have grabbed a Rival but I love the size of the Elite Combat, got my hands on one about 6 weeks ago and it has put my G19’s on the shelf for the last month. It’s a sweet handgun :)

You mean like this? Great compact-ish pistol! The Salient Arms Match Barrel, Extractor and Trigger are outstanding enhancements to the basic Canik foundation. It definitely requires those +3 Mag Extensions that it comes with however, as I find the grip otherwise too short for my pinky finger. Witht he extensions the Grip length is perfrct.
