I've got the 15, lots of fun. Couple of different versions, one with faux suppressor and another without. They come with a folding stock which is cool but I never fired it that way. I like the idea that the 16 has a mag holder in the buttstock. Comes down to aesthetics, SCAR vs MP5

Take into account the mags you want to get, availability and size, loading can be cumbersome for the drums. Half my decision would be based on quantity of mags you can get.

all the safety features on the 15 that mess with trigger reset can be removed fairly easily, the platform its self is reliable.

The 16 is a lb lighter. 16 mags were almost half the price of 15 mags, when they were still available. For a hundred bucks more, get the MP5ish GSG16 if that appeals more to you. Both are nice toys with adequate plinking accuracy, if you want the military look. Otherwise, for plinking, get the ubiquitous Ruger 10/22 or Marlin 795, both would be cheaper and more durable options, in my opinion.
