I have three new in the boxes P7M8’s
I saved these because they are a very interesting pistol, especially when
the New Jersey State Police adapted them as issue
When that happened HK made additional pistols
The leather accessories are also collectable

Woof, those could fetch a pretty penny if not prohibited.

None of the p7 models are prohibited.
I had a few a while back, amazing guns. OP if you are planing to sell one for the right price, let me know.

Not sure of the numbers but several sample were initially classified as prohibited as these models are right on the bubble, and they were being assessed on a case-by-case basis. I know of at least one case where someone had a prohibited barrel remeasured and successfully reclassified as restricted, though. Maybe that would be the case for others.

P7M8 are factory 4.1 inch 105cm
They were just classified prohibited because it was easy
They usually have to be re measured

Because in Canada, they measure from the muzzle to the breechface, that will give you just over 106..
But the rest of the world measures the barrel normally at 105mm.

Pictures please!!! I just aquired my first (and only) P7 - i picked it up from the post office today. Mine is ex-German police, so it has some holster wear but seems very lightly used for a police issue pistol. The box and accessories appear in near mint condition. I haven't shot it yet, but love the small size, squeeze cocker and trigger feel.

Watch out shooting the PSP's on hot days. The dust cover will heat up after a couple magazines ;)
