Just received a Rival Dark Side - and initially was super impressed.
Tonight, been playing around with off-hand lefty weirdo stuff and noticed that the trigger position felt different in some way.

What it's come down to is that the trigger is seated in the frame on an angle, and the outer edge of it is almost at the edge of the left side of the trigger guard, and there's more room on the right side. It's not a lot, maybe 2-3 mm, but definitely not centered.

Contacted my retailer to find out wtf but has anyone else checked theirs to see if the trigger is at center or gimped? I went out on a limb based on positive feedback on this underdog company and feeling like I wasted almost a grand on an unpolished product with lines down the middle of the frame.

Exchange it. I wouldn't take it apart and void the warranty.
BTW, consider yourself lucky (sort of), no one else has received theirs yet.

My trigger is off to one side a little but only by a hair. The hole in the frame where the trigger assembly goes thru has a little wiggle room incorporated into the design to ease assembly of the firearm.Looks like it's made this way and has no effect on the operation.Put at least 1000 rounds thru this pistol so far with-out a hitch. This is not a $1500 Walter Q5 but for the money it's a great deal. There is a quality about it that when you shoot it you'll like it.

I guess it's a good value but I'm used to higher-end products. I suppose if it works as advertised, it's not much of an issue. I'm just picky as I usually buy higher-end products, although at almost a grand, I consider this as entering that category.
