well this year no one got a moose tag and some of the guys have 14 points with one never being drawn .. no antlerless tags for deer either .. i dont beleive this alocation tag system is right ,theres another camp with members that had 6 points ,5 points ,4 points and they drew 3 tags. its a shame as some of the members we have are thinking of giving up due to there age and there on there final years for hunting..i guess theres always qubec or winipeg
 
B.C. government is giving all the natural resources to the Indians, I gave up on the LEH along time ago ! Got to get used to buying

That’s a messed up system. Especially if guys with half the points are getting drawn?
Haha, come to Winnipeg for what? Deer? With these gas prices?? You sir might just love hunting more than me!
 
What unit for moose, You can se how many tags were issued and how many points required last year, so either the same or less for this year.

While the new system is taking some getting used to something doesn’t add up.

I only had 3 points got bull tag 2nd chance draw 15b. My dad got a cow tag 15b in second chance only has 3 points. Some areas have way more tags 15b had like 550 bull tags.

Yes, but the OP is complaining that his group didn't get a tag with 14 points, while others got tags with 6 or less. If they're in the same unit, something is off. If you wanted to go really remote, fly-in country, you could probably draw a tag every year.
 
54 wmu yes the other camp is in same wmu and theres no way they will want our help we already joined 2 camps together last year. there only keeping 2 adult tags . well we have bear and bucks only deer so guys that only came up for a few days to split between moose and deer will be hunting full 2 weeks deer. were trying to make the old members new heated stands as the deer season can get real cold for the standers. i guess well see how it goes and i had just gottten a new tikka 9.3 for moose. are there surplus tags for 1c at this point ill do the 20 plus hour drive and sleep in the truck

13 Points for a first round Bull tag this year, so someone likely didnt apply properly. Or there was a random draw for everyone with 13 points.

Next year it should go down slightly or you will pull a tag with 14 points.

All the easily accessible units have low tag numbers and high hunter numbers. With 13 points you can pull a bull tag almost anywhere else in the province.

In some units 2 or 3 points was getting a bull on the second draw.

I know one unit it’s 27 points for a tag, low moose numbers too but it’s close to civilization so many apply.

Can't be that bad, I've drawn antlerless Mulie every year that I've applied in both SK(when I lived there) and AB (where I currently live) and this year my wife and I both drew antlered and antlerless Mulie and last year she drew antlerless moose with a priority 1! I haven't drawn Moose, Elk or Antelope yet as I have been applying to WMZ 999 to build priority for when I have time to go after them.
 
Is it possible that the bulk of your draw tags are going to the anti’s?
Do you need to put up coin to apply?
Apply and then don’t hunt or pay for the tag and an automatic go to zero priority for ever.

In the first round draw you have like 30 days to buy the tag, $200 for a bull. If you don't buy the tag it's forfeit and goes to the 2nd chance draw. In the 2nd chance if you don't buy the tag it goes to waste no surplus tags in this system. They really should change it so you loose all points if you don't claim a drawn tag in 2nd chance, probably lots going to waste.

The "antis" would have to have been buying licences and applying for the draw for the last quarter century+. So not likely.

It costs 15 bucks to apply. If you're awarded a tag you have to buy a licence ($35) and then buy the tag (varies, $200 max for a bull).
