I've been a shooter and gun owner since I was a kid and going on 60 soon. I was never much into handguns though at one time I owned a S&W Model 19 .357 w/6" bbl and a S&W 686 .357 w/6"bbl but sold them many years ago. I was recently shown a collection of handguns and rifles and the gentleman had a few mint condition Walther PPK's. Two were in 22lr calibre and one was in 7.65, a calibre of which I have never heard of. The only research I could find on the calibre showed that a 7.65 was a Browning .32 cal and/or 32ACP? Are either of these statements true? I have never heard of these calibres? Out of curiosity what would these Walter PPK's possibly be worth? I would put all three at an honest 95%+ condition and was curious as to what their value might be?

.32 acp is / was quite common, more so in Europe.
Colt used it in most of their pocket pistols, as all companied did in the past.
I have had a few PPK's in 32, and 380, as well as colts brownings, Savage made a nice one.
You can still buy ammo, but as with .25 acp it is now prohited cal., and under 105 mm, so you can't buy / own one now as you needed to have one when C68 came about in the late 1990's
PPK in 32 are in the 300-400.oo, the ones in 22 are double that in price, but still probited because of the short barrel. Barrel could be changed, but cost$$$$
PS , the ammo is not prohibited, but the pistols that use it is. There are .32 guns that are legal ( restricted)
I also shot a SW 19 , in 4 in.
32 ACP stands for Colt Auto Pistol. same as metric 7.62

Unless you are a 12(6) licence holder, Walther PPK’s * PP’s are all prohibited class autos.
22LR, 32acp & .380acp are all prohibs because of the barrel length & calibers with the exception of .380, but unless you have a long barrel PP or PPK in .380 your goose is cooked.
Stupid Liberal/ndp rules, regulations & their quest for a civilian gun-free socialist utopia like the EU & other regimes, plainly demonstrates that these political hypocrites/miscreants don’t want citizens but subjects.

Thanks for the info. Very interesting stuff. Now I know what ACP stands for.

And now I know what the 12(6) in the EE is all about. Leave it to a Lib to wreck the fun for everyone...

What I don't know is how you post 2 different posts in one reply, not that I have tried I guess.
All this 12-6 nonsense came about in 1998, 12-2 is full auto, 12-3, 12-5 are battle rifles, ie FN-Fals, AK47's, All the fun stuff that gives govn't heart burn, not just Liberal's Thee PC screwed us well.
If you don't have gray hair , you are too young.

:)

I would guess you post with quote and then you post with quote another but copy the quoted part, then edit the first of yours and paste the 2nd quote...............simple! ;)

Actually there is a little icon below on right of posts which is "multiquote and you can check mark more than one post and then quote. Hmmm I learned something.

In the lower right corner of the post box is an icon that looks like a tv with quotation marks in it(multi-quote). Select that on any/all posts you want to quote then select the "reply with quote button" in one and they all appear...
