HK USP stainless steel being discontinued

BY one whilst you can. I recieved a reply about a stainless steel finished P30-L,....and also noted this;

Dear Mr. Hepworth,

No, unfortunately, the P30L will not be available as Stainless Steel Model.

Generally, our USP Stainless Steel models will be discontinued.

We asked our importers to place their final orders for USP Stainless Steel models.

USPs are everywhere. You won't have trouble finding the popular models: it's the different ones, like stainless slides, that you need to worry about...

As long as people keep buying them, HK will make them, like the MP5's, Mark23's and many other guns rumoured to be "discontinued" year after year.


Sucks to see the Stainless models going out of production, but its not a huge deal.

Maurice, for what it's worth I got the same message when I imported a stainless USP 9 SD in 2003.

That said, I'm sure they're just about done with it by now.
