Hey guys I was considering picking up a stainless steel barrel for my Glock, any experience with these?

I have Barsto, KKM & Storm Lake barrels for my Glocks.

I went with the Storm Lake only for cost savings.

In the future I would go with a Bartsto or KKM their finished product just looks shoots better for me so I recommend you spend the extra money and get the best.

All are accurate I just find that the Storm Lake's barrels I have are not finished as nicely as the others.

thanks do yo know of any stores in canada i can order from that stock these other brand of barrels i have only been able to find storm lake stocked?

I got a lone wolf barrel for my Glock 34 three weeks ago.I am happy with it,$116 delivered to my door.I would guess it is about 25% more accurate than the glock barrel. I am shooting 125 lee bullets and 3.5 of WST.Best groups are 11/2 at 20 yards. Still working on loads. No side hits at any speed so far.

WTF...I just got mine this week for my 34 & it cost me 15 bucks more delivered to our post office/ variety store:confused:
From what I read, Lone Wolf makes the best barrel for the money. I haven't had a chance to use it yet though.

Did you order your lone wolf barrels through their website or through a canadian dealer?

You can order barrels through their website. But I think they won't some to Canadians due to prohibited barrel lengths. Give em a call, they can set you straight on that. I dealt with JR; pretty informative guy.

I ordered one from them direct a week ago Monday, I expect it to arrive hopefully tomorrow. They told me they will ship any barrel over 105 mm to Canadian customers....I called them and the service was great....

Out of curiosity, what exactly makes a barrel "match grade"? It seems that every aftermarket barrel is described as such these days. I can see how a fitted 1911 barrel could be considered match grade, but a drop in Glock barrel? I have serious doubts that you would see any positive changes in accuracy with one of those aftermarket barrels.

Check out Questar for Lone Wolf, Barsto, and Storm Lake... Mark sells lots with his glocks.

As for accuracy, they might be a little more accurate. I think their tolerances are pretty good and they actually feel tighter in the gun than the OEM glock barrels. As a result you get a slightly more accurate barrel with a trade off of reliability.. I've read that they can be more picky with certain brands or reloads. An OEM glock barrel will feed anything.

My Storm Lake barrels are great. :D

Dancewithempties I ordersd my barrel from Glockparts. I belive the reason the barrel shoots better is that the Glock barrel has rounded rifeling and is desigined for jacketed bullets. The lone Wolf barrel has square cut rifling and grabs the lead bullet better.
