2022 Big Game Rifle

For deer and black bear, any of the following depending on the mood of the day: 6.5x55 with NP or SST 140 grains, 270 with NP 150 grains, 30-06 with NP 180 grains or 150 Sierra Pro Hunter, 9.3x62 with PPU 286 grains.
 
2 Browning BLRs - Whitetail and Black Bear.

1. Blued / Walnut with Leupold vx-r 1.25-4x in .358 winchester shooting hornady 200gr SP
2. Stainless Takedown with Trijicon 1-4x accupoint in .358 winchester shooting hornady 20gr SP (foul weather and bash around gun)
 
Moose 7mm rem mag Winchester model 70 xtr 160 grain Barnes x bullet
Savage model 110 270 win with 140 grain Barnes xbullet

Deer
Remington model 7 stainless 260 rem with 120:grain tsx Barnes xbullet
Model 99 300 savage with 150 grain Speer hot cor
 
Mulie does and either ### whitetail with the 8x57 JRS Haenel Jager 9 and a 6x S&B. Probably 196 grain woodleigh, but I need to test them out; good results with 196 privi of the same shape so I might end up using those. 150 grain Speer hotcores are also a possibility but I haven’t tested any loads

Might load some light 200 grain hornady interlocks in the 338 wm for backup duty but I doubt it
 
Ruger 77 tang safety 358 Winchester for the shorter/midrange blind work and Model 70 FWT 270 for open country. Trying 110gr TTSX for the first time in the 270. Whitetail in Manitoba and Saskatchewan and for the first time Mulies in Manitoba:)

However, for modern stuff,my goto custom Leeper built Ruger single in .303 Brit is always ready as well as a host of others.
The current 1st string this year will be :
16X16/9.3X72R German Guild drilling.

Ruger #1 in 280 , 'smithed by Cooper Customs.

Pedersoli Sharps business rifle in 40/65.

Possible , but not in the current starting roster :
M70 Safari in 375H&H

Enfield .577 Snider

That ^^^ like I said somewhere else looks fantastic!!
Leaving today on a 4 day canoe trip where we will be looking for moose and caribou! The no1 9.3x62 will be with me!
