Hey there! New in town and just bought my first ever firearms, a Sig M17, and a Shadow systems DR920 elite, now obviously i didn't want to shell out that much money at once but considering these options might not exist shortly....well they have forced many of our hands

What my question is did anyone else get any last minute hand guns , which ones and if you'd like to share why that would be cool too. just interested to hear what everyones going for!

Nice choice on the shadow systems. Those are really sweet in person, great trigger and sights. welcome.
try to get a .22 hand gun or conversion kit for one of the ones you got for cheap trigger practice. Will help you get good, and save you a ton of money on ammo.

are gun owners just not big on the m17 in general ? they are still in stock and theres more hype over a random glock than that one. I understand customization might be the top point here, but almost nothing is cheap in canada and 200$ more a better gun seems to be the right way to go or? That is.....if you can find them cheaper

Better gun?
People are confused... It terms of modularity the Sig M17/P320 IS the better gun. Don't get me wrong, Glocks are great but the frame you get is the frame you are stuck with. The P320 offers customization on an entirly different level. But some folks are not into that, and thats ok. Glock has a proven track record, has tons of aftermarkt support and they just work plain and simple. What ever blows your hair back I guess.
Good choices, the M17 and the SS. Kinda like getting the best of both worlds.

yes just basing that on all the things i've read and watched and the few people i've spoken too. But i wanted 1 nice black gun and 1 nice tan gun, the FN 509 tac isn't available anywhere and the m17 was my second choice so i guess i pulled some nice #### there lol

.....hopefully i see them before new years :)
