Plugging Box Mag 12ga?

Has anyone put a plug in a box magazine for a 12ga for hunting? I have a Dominion box mag shotgun, I was curious about plugging the 5rd magazines to 2rds so that I can use it for hunting in Ontario.

I made these for my mag fed grizzly, slips inside the mag follower. Easy to make and easy to slide in or remove.

Does the wood hit the mag follower or the spring guide? The little metal spring guide is the part that would be annoying.

The wood slides inside the follower, it sits flush with the bottom of it. The only thing that sits lower is the threaded bolt, it sits inside the magazine spring and doesn’t bind when loaded. I have hunted with this setup and have had no malfunctions, it’s a DA Grizzly (870 clone) with metal mags. I can’t speak if this will work on any other of the Dominion Arms mag fed shotguns, as I’m not familiar with how those mags are set up.
