Sure they would cost more, but they would be canadian made and you could sell them in the U.S. You could sell 1,000's if you priced them well below the SA ones.

Still couldn't sell them in the US, you would have to make them in the US to sell them there.
 
just be thankful you've only got 5 round mags- trust me, if you've got a 20 rounder, you're liable to shoot it dry- that's why i got a dillon in 308- it wasn't unheard of to go through 220 rounds in a session- 6 mags in the dragbag and 1 in the rifle, plus another 4 in your pouches properly spaced it takes a couple of hours, and then you MUST have a back-up gun, with another 7 mags, and then there are "deals" you can't turn down- my trw cost 334

Canada was big enough to get CANAM to make the grizzly arms 870s.

Also, there are three manufacturers (Smith Enterprise, Thrustline Manufacturing, and the supplier to RWB, LLC) of new M14 bolts and new M14 operating rods getting ready to supply the US civilian market. It ain't over yet for this old friend, M14.

all i can say is i hope all of this rumoured parts and norinco usa parts are availlable to us canadians..... I am sitting on the investment cash to place a large wholesale order :D .... I patiently await news......

You can manufacture firearms in Canada and sell them in the USA providing they meet the point criteria and you jump through a few hoops.

Man.. an new op rod handle woyuld be sweet...Mine already 'bite' my finger.

Pretty glad I have an M14 style sporting rifle to tweek out.

Yes there are ways of doing it, we are already producing some firearms offshore and "finishing" them down south....

Not difficult but a very long and twisty path....
