Not in the store of course.

I have given up on the store and went Mail Order. Got my CCI primers and other stuff to my door in two days and for a reasonable shipping cost, probably what I'd pay in vehicle operating costs.

No more store visits for me....

Andy:

I went through that a few years back. Now I maintain a min. 500 primers for each of the CCI 200, 250 and 400.

Always call Le Baron and find out if they have that stuff in stock before going to the store. I hate to mail order and pay the extra for shipping primers.

By the way what is shipping cost for primers?

Canpar does not have a hazmat permit.

$11 is a decent price for shipping though :nest:

Craig

hmmm, I picked up 1k of CCI 450 on Jan 2...

Boy - this has gone places I never imagined.....

Higginsons is out of CCI primers (e.g. CCI 200 - Large Rifle) except for a few very specific ones that I don't need (e.g. CCI 450 - Small Rifle Magnum). I just got off the phone with them.

Canpar can ship primers - by road only and with certain restrictions. Primers are a special class of goods called a "Consumer Commodity" that can't be mailed using Canada Post, but can be shipped by approved carriers such as Canpar and DHL.

Me, I'd be more careful before I suggested that a member of the firearms community was breaking the law.

I see LeMorons have changed their mail order policy.

it used to be if there was a store in town, no mail order.

I don't know if that was ever a policy, a rumoured one for sure, but not one I have ever come up against. I'm a 20 minute drive from LeBaron in Ottawa and have been doing mail order for almost 10 years.

You just gotta laugh when see you a thread title like that - especially with the exclamation point. Baron (SAIL) on Notre Dame in Montreal is another "special" place. Always feel like I'm interrupting when I'm in there.
