Horrible service from Solely regarding Reference number

Hello, why is you customer service so bad?
I bought a shadow 2 one week ago, I've been calling for my reference number to make sure the transfer has gone through. One of your store members has been very rude over the phone. Yelling, and saying they're busy. Told me it's in to bottom of the safe and they won't get it.

You guys say you're "very busy" but I've bought 12 hand guns and you're the only store that won't give me my reference number.
I walked into east hill and they showed me BOTH my guns that were in the bottom of the safe.

My sister's fiancé bought it the same time and you told him that the transfer has not been initiated.
So I have no idea what's going on, and looks like you don't care after taking the customers money.

Same thing here Ive called them three times in the last week, and they say "we are busy" ok... we are all busy.

Like @lushlobster said I have had no problems receiving transfer numbers a day after from other bigger stores. I called them, I have 2 orders one from the last 10 days.

Solely get you $%it together.
 
Funny, I had the exact opposite experience. Ordered a Holosun 507C early in the morning and I had it at my door the following day - some of the best service I’ve ever received.
 
lots of stores are not giving out transfer numbers. they are all busy if you are in Ont just wait 4 months and it'll show up...

it is unacceptable. I have purchased firearms from 9 different stores in the last 2 months, all of them supplied me with the transfer number within 2 days.

One of the stores transferred my fiances handgun into a different name, if I didn't have reference number and check with the CFO who would catch this? Because of this mistake there are now 102,000 transfers ahead of her "error" original one.

Totally unacceptable, please stop defending the stores
 
Transfer number are useless for store purchase. The purpose of it it’s to confirm information between private parties.
I do not understand people that are so anal about getting one. What are you gonna do with it ? Call CFC ? Plug up de lines further asking - with NO EFFECT on how fast your CFO will get to it ?

The RCMP issued a memo stating up it can take up to 3 months. Suck it up and wait.

Don't you know a lot of stores pre sold "instock" guns and buyers have been asking for weeks just to find out they are never going to see them? and missed out buying elsewhere. No reference number, means no transfer started

Ask for refence number, atleast if they dont provide in timely manner you have choice to refund and go elsewhere

3 months? its almost been 3 months since beginning of June and they are on June 2.

2 of my firearms have already been transferred into the wrong name in error by the store, if I didn't catch this who would? the only way to catch this... is... drum roll... a reference number.

And like someone else said, stores are selling stock they do not even hold in the store. Ive had 2 occurrences where I paid for an item, it never showed up, or I paid for an item and they were sold out all without even notifying the customer. You think these stores are gonna get back to you? It is unacceptable and poor practice.

If you wanna let others dictate and control your life and tell you how "how longs its gonna take" go ahead, I and many others on this forum are not those people.

This. I bought a handgun 2 weeks ago from another retailer and they forgot to mention on the listing that they didn’t have the firearm in stock.. apparently they’re still waiting for the shipment.

Meanwhile since that purchase, I found the same exact firearm in stock at two other retailers, for $200 cheaper. they’re both sold out now. Pissed.
 
I have to tell you from what I'm reading I've lost alot of respect for the retail market and I'm glad I mainly deal on the used market. Any store that is doing this type of business should be ashamed of themselves. Especially with what is going on right now. Basically stealing from there customers if you ask me.
 
I have a sale pending with Soley. I don't have a reference number for my sale.
I had a sale dated the same as my Soley purchase, with my reference number (and sold repeat phone calls for about 2+ hours, check my other posts) I was able to complete 2 sales from that 1 supporter. I have those items in hand, delivered, before today...

I'm trying to tell people to be patient. I believe that businesses weren't being provided the reference numbers for the transfers. So even if yours was completed you would be the first to know. If you sent that to the business then they shipped your order.

That's how I got my other sales through. But I'm pretty sure the businesses are the last to get the info that they are clear to ship. Stock issues? I haven't heard anyone confirm those but maybe we're getting store credit? I joke.

I bought 4 handguns during the frenzy.
I asked for all 4 reference numbers from the retailers and got them.
The next day I emailed the Quebec CFO with all 4 reference numbers, my RPAL, and my range membership in a very polite and formal email explaining I was available for any further questions they may have.

All 4 transfers got finalized within ONE hour of them getting that email. This was in June when the freeze was announced and CFOs were getting thousands upon thousands of transfer requests.

I told another buyer to do the same and she got the same result, same day transfer approval. And no, its not mere luck.

So while you may not know what to do with them (up until now I guess)...reference numbers for store purchases are most definitely not useless.
