best value pistol optic

Hello Gents

Im looking for a pistol optic for my incoming Taurus Tx 22 comp. Its just gonna be a fun range plinker, not going to kill Russians with it. What seems to be the best value optic out there right now? Something max $400 ish.

I have been running a Vortex venom for a while, on a 45 1911, works fine for 300.oo , have a 75.oo, but never tried it.
it is a 3mil auto on /off auto brightness.
Also had a viper on a 9mm , works fine.
Warranty is top notch on them.
Had a poor battery connection, they just sent a all new one.

I have a Vortex Venom and just got a Holosun 507 with green dot. I much prefer the green dot as does every one who compares the two. The green dot just seem to jump out at you when you look at any target/background. Something to think about.

Agreed. The 507K-X2 has a very nice dot in a circle reticle.
