High Quality 22lr's

You missed Remington.
Deals are few and far between, but I started to cool off on the Rimfire EE when I saw a Marlin 795 listed for about $400 recently. First time I bought one of those it was $125 with a $25 mail-in rebate. Last one I sold was under $200, and it wasn't that long ago. Not in the market for anything rimfire-related, but have my eye on something else, and that something else seems to carry highly-inflated prices as well.
I have a RimX action up. Most don't want to pay extra for a $1600 chassis, and a $4000 scope, on top of the action, so only listed as a barreled action with mags. Plus this way you get to choose your favorite stock, and trigger, and glass to make it yours!
I'm over $3000 before taxes into the barreled action. At this rate, I might just hold onto it and make it a 17wsm.
Such an easy swap to 22 mag, 17 mach2, or 17hmr for the rimX. Replace prefit barrel, new bolt head, and new mags gets you into a new caliber. Same action and main bolt body, and all will work with the rest of your system. The 17 wsm requires a new complete bolt, new mags, and new barrel. I'm really surprised at the lack of people playing with this option.

Are you talking Calfee spec rifles? If so I don't imagine your going to find one. People who have them don't sell them or may not be allowed to sell them. I know I seen it claimed that Calfee got so he would refuse to build a rifle for anyone that wasn't of championship caliber and had championships to prove it.

Toronto 2017. National team air rifle shooter (not me by any stretch) - I asked her if the rifle was $4k or $5k..
Right in the middle... $4500. for an air rifle. But competition air pistols go for $1500-$2500 so not surprised.

The best shooter for the money on the EE is probably the Anschutz 1411 with a prone stock that was posted recently. It's not mine, but if it has an average-for-Anschutz barrel, it should shoot very well indeed (with the appropriate ammo).

According to IBI, my 20" carbon barrel has the calfee 4 chamber??
That's very possible as anyone can buy that reamer but there is alot more to calfee "spec" rifle than the chamber and most of it from what I have seen he has kept his secret

The chamber has to be properly cut (not all smiths and barrel makers do an equal job) and it must be accompanied by a superlative bore (and a few other things) to maximize potential.

Unless shooters are bench rest competitors, most cannot outshoot a CZ or Tikka factory rifle. Some of that is not understanding how to find superlative performing 22LR ammo for their rifle. Spending for an aftermarket barrel (or getting a good Anschutz one), lot tested ammo, a high quality precision optic, and a chassis if getting off the bench, and hello $5K minimum. Shooters want to believe cheap shoots as well as expensive, but that just isn’t the case, apples to apples.
