I have one of these and only 200 where ever made from what I've read. I see one was sold back in Apr 2018 for $3,800US ($4,989 Cdn today) So anyone have an idea what they're worth these day? It's never been to the range and I'm the original owner.
 
Sounds like you got a starting point it could be more or less because it's in Canada.

You need a collector who truly values it and has that kind of spare change laying around at this point after so much panic buying has ensued, and there's probably very few of those in Canada to begin with due to the Limited number of Rpal holders...

So depending on which way the pendulum swings it could either be worth significantly more or even significantly less (if you actually want it to move) than the data point you reference.

There's a good chance that whoever is holding it come October 3rd or 4th will be its final canadian owner, so it doesn't give you much time to shop it around to well off collectors
 
If it's one of the original DAO then you really have something, FOC had a bunch of DAO 57 but they werent original DAO. I see these pop out in the states for good money but like other have said, we are in a bunch smaller market for an very unique piece
 
I was thinking of keeping it, but I'm now in my late 60's and think it should go to some younger shooter. I will most likely post it on the exchange this weekend with 4 of my other pistols.
