Transfer Times

Wow sounds like you have it down to a science! Impressive.
Well when it finally comes in let us know! I had no clue how insane this wait would be lol.

I don’t know what’s going on. I did transfer on 15 july 5969 for S&W 629 44 mag haven’t got anything. Then I ordered colt python 5963 from red deer also didn’t get anything yet. But I ordered one from tenda its S&W 500 magnum. And number 5976 ordered on july 22 and got cfo letter on email on july 28 and after ups ppls they deliver on august 8th. So I have really no idea how cfo is working. And i am from surrey bc.

Called in to check on my PAL while I was on the phone the woman did 3 transfers for me she was incredibly nice saying that normally they are a week to ten days ahead of Ontario but now its just crazy
got my updated PAL on the way AND 3 transfers :) happy days (ohh and its not really cheating lol 1 was due this week anyway)

You are lucky i guess

ya I did not know I needed a new PAL card to have restricted I never saw that anywhere I think they have set up CFO's answering calls from home now she said they were busy but she did not sound stressed in fact she was super happy that she was able to help not at all what I expected I assume not having the correct PAL could have stalled my applications so if anyone else is making their first Restricted purchase you will also need a new PAL card

Am I the only one worried about rust and corrosion? If you live in Ontario like me and have ordered recently, you’re looking at a year or two wait before you see your firearm. I know many Sig models are prone to rust, there’s a reason why the M17 is packed in a plastic bag drenched in oil.

Maybe I’m being paranoid but I hope the retail employees are wiping off their fingerprints..

pretty much all main manufactured firearms come covered with storage oil or grease. in some instances, they have been stored for a while before even hitting the shelves...other ones could attest but modern firearms I wouldn't be worried about it...I'm pretty sure that firearm shops must not necessarily be drenched abd moist basements either..

Why would I need to replace my Restricted PAL upon purchasing my first Restricted firearm?

So my first buy was June 2nd transfer started June 4th retail 5906### in Ontario.. still nothing.

Butt a private sale and last gun I bought August 9th was approved today ???

Lol the 7 guns in-between those are still not approved lol

Seems no order in what they are doing

My transfer was started on June 7th then was sent to the AB CFO on June 23 for approval.

I've still heard nothing. I've called them directly no less then 10 times and almost every time I get this message right away.... "We're sorry, we're unable to take your call right now. Please try again at a later date."

The two times I was put on hold, it was for about 5 minutes, then I got that same message.
