Tactics for getting through to initiate a transfer.

What seems to work best to get through to initiate a transfer with the cfc? Looking for ideas or tips?

About a week ago I called in around 2-3pm in Alberta, got through first try after about 5 minutes on hold.

I got 3 transfers through by using the non restricted transfer line, and they seemed to pickup relatively quickly..... Its about 50/50 if they can do the restricted transfer or not though.

Just keep calling they open at 8:30 and you just have to spam call them till you get into the que then redial if you get kicked. It will take awhile but everytime I have phoned starting at 8:30 I have eventually got through so make sure you have the time to spend focusing on redialing constantly

I don't know if they are as busy as they were a couple of months ago. When I completed my transfer a few weeks ago I just kept calling until I got through. It took me a few goes but it certainly was quicker than when I tried to call them just after June 1st.

Burner app. 5 minutes on hold and then in. Tried all day yesterday starting at 9am under my local number and either couldn't get through or got disconnected constantly.

This , I did 2 separate ones, days apart , and got through quickly calling at 3p.m. Alberta time.

Probably because 3pm is 5pm in Ontario so no more ontario calls bombarding the phone lines. Same reason using the burner app works with a nova scotia area code... beating the rush.

Try dialing 2-4-1 it's the French option. The information officer is bilingual, the one I got actually answered in English.

You just need to be persistent. There are a few techniques that help such as the burner app and having the extentions pre programmed into your phone.
