Looking for more info on Husqvarna O/U

Hey everyone,

Just looking for info on a new to me shotgun I just received today.

It is a Husqvarna 300C over/under which is made in Italy for the swedish market. It is 12g and has 3" chambers. (12/76)

I am wondering which choke system it uses, and who the maker is. I did some googling but sadly the information is limited at best.

Thought I would ask here first as usually someone here tends to know the answer.

It's probably made by F.A.I.R. Look for the initials IR on the barrels or monoblock... maybe the receiver... those will stand for Isidoro Rizzini who is the maker/owner of FAIR or Fabbrica Armi Isidoro Rizzini.

Bob that does not look like the engraving I have seen from any FAIR shotguns but I could be mistaken, I believe Isadoro is retired or passed as well, Luca Rizzini is heading up FAIR now.
Looks like it could be a a Zoli or Gamba?

Rizzini did make over under guns for Husqvarna. FAIR made some and I've read other rizzini families built the highest grade guns for Husqvarna. Either way they are well built guns. As for the choke system I'm not sure

You could certainly be correct David but I have read where Isidoro made shotguns for Husqvarna in the past, a set of initials would confirm it. FAIR also made shotguns for other vendors such as Savage, Verona, and others and the cosmetics varied between each of them.

If the gun was indeed made by FAIR then it's a fairly safe bet they are FAIR chokes.

I think I found the IR mark that was mentioned. I have added more pictures to confirm.

Thank you all again for being such a help, I bought this from intersurplus as a starter trap/skeet gun. Maybe even take it hunting, who knows.
