Tenda Canada

I was under the impression the 7 day policy after purchase only applies to Tenda themselves if they lower their prices.

Negative. They matched the price with a competitor. It was store credit, but I wasn't complaining and put the $220 towards a shotgun that I was going to get anyways that they happened to have on sale. Good place to shop when panic buying handguns during these crazy times. If they have it in stock and no one else does at least you get it for sure. Then if another retailer gets it for cheaper within 7 days you get the difference back in store credit. That was a huge bonus for me.
They did subtract the shipping cost that the competitor would have charged, but again that seems quite reasonable.

You must be mad with your bank.

Well it was a minor thing, I just had to call them and get them to increase my limit for online purchases or whatever (only took a couple of minutes). It should've been a simple matter had tenda bothered to pick up the phone to take the order off hold so I could pay for it.
I'd honestly love to say I'll never go back to tenda, unfortunately in the past they've been the only store I've found that stocks certain reloading supplies I need, so I have to swallow my pride.

Lacking is a good word for it. I ordered a rifle from them this spring, and heard nothing for over two weeks, but they charged my card right away. I finally got a reply after trying several times by email and PM on here, and they said they couldn't ship to my address. No idea why, as the Canada Post guy comes up to the house with packages all the time, but they'll ship it to a UPS store in town. It kind of made me wonder if I would have ever heard anything from them if I hadn't got hold of them.

That's incredible

Fair question for sure. The gun was not in stock at any other retailer at the time I made the purchase. They give you 7 days after purchase to claim the best price guarantee. With handguns going so quickly I just grabbed it at the price they had it listed at. When I saw another retailer got it in stock a couple days later at a much lower price, it was a bonus at that point. Had it been in stock somewhere else for a lower price at the time I was looking then I would have just grabbed from that retailer with the lower price

Gotcha, price match totally makes sense. Glad Tenda took good care of you once you got the ball rolling!

Anyone know if this company is still in business?

I ordered a firearm from them over a month age; I still haven't received it and I can't get any reply to my E-mails or anyone to answer the phone.

Shoddy way to run a business.

That's strange. I got my order in four days. Great and fast service.

Call the CFO at 8:30am Mon-Fri 1800-731-4000 +1 +1 ext.9530
Then tell them you have pending transfers in your name. They will approve them right over the phone. You pretty much have to do their job for them.

So you have no problem calling to jump the Que and cut off your fellow gun buyers? We’ve all seen the line jumpers that have no class….. :rey2

I’m surprised that your CFO bought your tear jerk story and not said you’ll get your transfer in turn…

I've brought from Tenda many other items and no issues. I just bought a Sig 320 Legion Xcarry handgun and I know it will be at least 42 days to wait due to the speed of the Canadian Firearms Program and not the service Tenda.

UPDATE

Just to advise, about two weeks ago the gun showed up.

Except for a rust blemish on the slide, the gun is in really good shape; probably better then described in the ad I would think.

These registration delays are ridiculous.

Thanks Tenda.

If you Click reply on your order invoice email and ask they will send your reference number.

I got two from June 1 & 2nd as well its the useless Government

It took 5 YES Five damn months for them to renew my pal online, beena holder for 15 years now so the cfo is very backlogged like all unless gov tax wastes

I asked them a question about my handgun coming with only one mag. and never got a reply.

Has your issue been resolved? I asked them about my shipment and was told to call back in about 10 days if it doesn’t ship out. Hopefully it’s sooner

I had a transfer approved , and sent Tenda the notice in case they didn’t get it. They said they would let their shipping department know. After 10 days, I sent a kind email asking about an estimated shipping date. The reply was that they had pallets and pallets to get through, and it might take a while and they thanked me for my patience. With the current climate, that was good enough for me. Then the next day I got a tracking number.

Truth. Dozens of orders. Some errors but to be expected in todays age… always make it right in a respectable time frame.
People are impatient in this Amazon age of expecting things in 2 days.

This seems to be a common issue with them, all astroturfing aside.

I’m hoping mine is soon. Not gonna lie, I lack patience simply because some companies ship within 2 days. Hopefully after my call about asking times it’ll be soon

I havent had any issues. Normally my emails are responded same day and they always answer the phone. Although they are a bit slow getting to orders. Still waiting for them to initiate a transfer purchased 5 days ago.

Its a bit of an apples/oranges comparison, Tenda has been dealing with volumes far, far higher than other dealers, they are just that much bigger. A behemoth like Walmart vs the local corner store.
A year ago they were boxing stuff to ship while the credit card was clearing, this spring it was a day or so, and since the stupidity set in May 31 the delays for shipping of even regular non-restricted stuff has been a week or so. I can only imagine how crazy the warehouse is (because with a handgun, its not a "ruger 22", its a ruger 22 serial number 123456789, so the right gun needs to go to the right place, NS is clearing transfers in a day, Ontario is clearing transfers within a decade, the system is often down to input transfers (and again, they are selling hundreds of handguns each day).

Our local UPS store is run by a shooter, she says well over half the firearms stuff coming in is from Tenda, vs Bullseye, G4C, and all others. Thats serious volume.

For those that are unhappy with Tenda of late, shop elsewhere. There are lots of options. I've shifted away from buying from them because of the slowness to process, the somewhat dodgy occasional request for extra shipping costs, their default charge for shipping even when they claim free shipping over $300, and that I have been trying to get in touch with them for a couple weeks regarding the new handgun I bought from them not having the front sight put on the top of the barrel, halfway down the side isn't very useful... But I will still egt the occasional order from them, the prices are pretty good if I'm not in a rush.
