That stock that Kamlooky installed - makes him like 3rd or maybe fourth CGN'r to possess it - someone here might recognize their work? I suspect it started life on a USRAC "Black Shadow" or similar - is a logo on the recoil pad that includes the phrase "US Repeating Arms Corp", I think. Has lived on a Model 70 375 H&H, and on a 338 Win Mag - seems to want to fit well onto a 264 Win Mag now!!

Looks great with the new stock!

I had the same rifle but 70's vintage. I shot it a lot and when it stopped shooting accurately I took it to a gun smith and through his borescope we could see major pitting in the throat. I had him bore it out to .284 but there were still pits showing so he took it out to .308 and made a 300 win mag out of it. It shot great after that so I refinished the stock and it's someone else's rifle these days.
