Can a store keep my fully transferred handgun from me

This was never about the money or even the gun ! This was about the store employees telling me they have powers of a CFO and the ability to revoke ownership if they decide to, I told them they didn't and they said watch us and so I did watch them. They did revoke my ownership using their business portal by lying to the CFO office saying I had cancelled my order and returned the firearm to the store which I 100% never did. So that was where the CFO got involved as the store does not have CFO powers to revoke registrations. They do have some leeway as a business if a buyer cancels they can transfer the gun back to them to resell. However as I have stated multiple time I never cancelled my order I never returned it to the store or asked for a refund so that was where they messed up and why the CFO did call them and smack them about it and left them scrambling to re-register the firearm back to me which they now have. I have also tonight been contacted again by the owner who has agreed to ship me my firearm as soon as they get the the new transfer approval which I just got emailed tonight as well so it should be shipped tomorrow or monday.

So for all the people going on about it being about money or that if only I just paid more I could have had a gun to shoot well again it was never about the money and I have an extensive collection of handguns so I have never been unable to go shooting. I stood up to a store employee who threatened to do things they had no authority to do and I called them on it and when they did do it I let the CFO office know what they did and they called and told them they cannot do that. I did it so that in the future they will know what they can and cannot do to customers and hopefully the attitude of the store employees will have been fixed. I have heard on this thread that many many others have had the same issues with the employees. The owner also assured me tonight he would look into the policies and procedures of his store.

So as of tonight this issue seems to have been resolved and my firearm will be shipped with no further issues

Thanks for all the input from everyone on this

If there was a like button on this forum, I'd definitely plus 1 it.

If everyone stood up for themselves as you did, then everyone else would have fewer customer service issues all together. This #### is being pulled because the vast majority of limp wristed Canadians will just give in, pay the extra, and moan about it under their breath serving absolutely no purpose.

Ravage, thank you for sticking to your guns and holding out.

I’ve been watching from the side lines. All I have to say is that 15 dollars can buy some tall cans and you can drink those and just sit in quite and reflect on the small things in life…… slow clap…..

Glad it worked out. I have no beef with tenda, but I'm always happy when the underdog wins. Too many pushovers in this country.

If every one stood up like the op did maybe this country wouldn't be the toilet that it is with these crooked politicians doing the same thing to Canadians.

On a side note, I bet all that think 'just pay and get it done with' are fully vaccinated possibly with boosters.

The 'good job for holding out and sticking to your morals' are unvaccinated and supported the freedom rally.

I would have taken the same route. Sometimes it's about the principle. Good on you for sticking to your guns (no pun intended), I'd buy you a beer if I could.

Probably non-binary gender queers too. What kind of man would lay down to such bullsh!t?

Good on you for standing your ground. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Tenda’s business practices are shady at best and malicious at worst, and too many people give them a free pass on all the s**t they pull. Hopefully this results in some actual changes going forward.

Lol ! This make me laugh. Were is your gun OP ? If they had done anything illegal..the gun would have been on your way. I do not believe one minute the CFO will get involved in a business transaction where the problem is money.

There is nothing illegal telling the CFO they don’t ship because of an outstanding amount.

I maintain this is stupid for $15.

Haha, this didn’t age well.

Good on you OP for holding firm and telling Tenda to suck it, I hope you enjoy your new gun.

I have moved on to skimming past posts from several people on this board, he is one of them...didn't age well indeed.

Yes, he’s been a regular poster on this thread nit picking and offering pretty stupid replies. He goes quite for awhile and then starts up after the dust settles. Threads like this sure do bring out some bizarre responses. Good on the OP for not responding to them, though.

Seems the only way to deal with Tenda is to buy in person if possible; I certainly won't be ordering anything to be shipped from them after reading this thread.
