In Stock Handguns - Del Selin Vernon

Right after I posted the list I picked up a Springfield XDM Elite 4.5”. Dealt with Sean. Very helpful, smooth transaction. Was on the fence between the 5.25 and the 4.5. The 4.5 just felt better in the hand.
 
Dels used to be on gun nutz but I think his computer guy doesn’t work there anymore. Dels is an awesome place to buy from. Small store with a lot of stuff jammed in.

Yeah, and there is zero chance of him changing at this stage of his life. Top tip, dont mention Ruger & accuracy in the same sentence in front of Del (saw a few people fall down over this one);)

As crusty as he is I have always found him fair, done a good few deals along the way where I came away happy.

He has pulled me out a hole a few times too, I once broke a part on my Dillon and he took one he had in the shop apart and gave me what I needed (meaning he couldn't sell it until he got the part replaced), then he didnt know what price the part was so he said to leave it and he would find out. Next time I was in I asked if he had figured it out and he said Dillon had replaced it FOC so dont worry about it (he has a very good word of Dillon and for good reason it seems).

He’s a grump some days but who isn’t lol, I’ve always found him to be good #### though. He’s always helped me out when I’m in Vernon and looking for something or a hard to find part, he’s just old school and I can respect that.

When you get to be close to 80 years old and putting up with a lot of pain, while still working and ??????????
 
I'd bet if the old boy would sit down with one of his regulars and give them a completed list with prices it would likely make his life a lot easier than having to field constant phone calls about what he has and how much it is.

Don't hold your breath, why should he get in a rush to satisfy your needs
Some days all phone calls get answered, some not
walk-ins carry cash
