My oldest son got his first moose this season. Dropped him with two shots through the lungs at about 100 yards across a small swamp. Couldn’t remove the grin from his face if you tried.

My hunt in BC region 6 starts on the 20th and runs till nov 15th. Was gonna leave tomorrow but I think I will drive in on opening day as the last leg of the 8 or so hour journey is thru prime moose country in the MU my Bull tag is for. No general open season this year so hopefully a moose will be found before winter decides to set in.
It is near summer time weather here across much of BC and my destination is no different. Been up to the low 20'sC daytime for most of the month but fortune may be with me as the weather is turning cold by end of the week and that will get the moose back moving again. I am expecting there to still be rut activity as the warm weather may have put them off till it gets cold..... who knows. I won't have internet out at the cabin I'll be staying in and hunting from but I will update when I do get back to the main residence where there is all the comforts of home.
Hopefully I will have a moose story of my own when I return

There are tracks all over and we saw two bulls…however, we dont have a bull tag but moose is here and the weather should be a bit less crappy in Nov. Good luck to ya

We bow hunted WMU49 with a bull tag.

Most of us ended up with COVID which really screwed things up. Had three bull sightings but couldn't loose an arrow.

Oh! That sucks with covid and no arrow flying. Hopefully things will improve for you.
