Because Irunguns imported the pistol version of the gun.Hello everyone in gunnutz land! Can someone please elaborate to me why the 30 round KRISS Vector 22 LR mags are pinned to 10?
Were they registered as pistols? I was under the impression vector mags were limited to 10 because they are Glock pattern.Because Irunguns imported the pistol version of the gun.

There are lots of 30rd mags in the wild still being used. The rifle was only recently classed as a pistol

They look fairly similar to advantage arms conversion mags, offset feeding and BHO in similar places.Ya the mags don’t look like any other mag I’ve seen. Not even close to my Glock 44 or them advantage arms conversion kits.
I don’t think the .22lr mags are Glock pattern for the vector.
The thing that bothers me so much about 22lr mag limits on the vector and the 10/22 for that matter is that the rcmp are using American laws to base our regulations on.
These rifles are not pistols and never will be. They are called “pistols” in America to exploit a loophole in American regulation.
I don’t understand why we can’t just stick to our own interpretations and base classification on OAL, etc
Oh you must hate LAR-15 magazines too right? (I think if you like the RCMP LAR-15 magazine interpretation, you already believe that 10/22 magazines can be limited to 10 too you just disagree with the RCMP what is a pistol magazine and what isn't) Our laws are just poorly written.
But yes the RCMP consider Kriss Vector 22 magazines to be handgun magazines limited to 10.
