easier money would have been selling 9mm, 45ACP and 40S&W for $500 for a box of 50.

Whatever they were worth on the open market before the freeze, that is how much money was just stolen/expropriated from you. The people who got double kicked in the gut are those who have family heirlooms, pistols carried by their relatives in the First and Second world wars and passed down generation to generation. Poof. Gone. That'll sure fix illegal gun violence. It takes a very callous and evil government to do that to its citizens.
 
Lots of people have talking big here. Ask the 12.1-12.6 crew how this plays out over time. Until the majority are willing to speak up enough to jeopardize their comfortable existence herein Canada, nothing will change. A new letter writing campaign might do the trick, eh? Maybe some donations to gun orgs??? No, I’m not going to risk a damn thing while the majority shrug when I get smashed by the “authorities”. 85% of Canadians already showed their weakness.
 
Well, I think that there should be a Charter challenge somewhere in this mess. Government, any government in this country cannot with a stroke of a pen chane legally possessed property into something with no value.
 
I'm surprised the Liberals haven't got an "export to the Ukraine" tax credit scheme going yet.

Export is going to get really, really busy. We won't be sending much to the USA since their import rules protect their firearms industry and owners' values.
