Cant find primers

My bet is that in the next few years, prices may SLIGHTLY correct, down a bit, as supply catches up. I don't think manufacturers, distributors, or retailers are likely to forget the prices they were able to squeeze out of people, so $25- $40 per k may never be back. Bet that people who never worried about it before will stock up, and those that have previously will continue to add inventory in a controlled manner, topping up to avoid the next panic. It's how they avoided $150-200 per k primers this round ;)

I have to think that very few are getting into reloading those days. As the gang grows a bit longer in the tooth....you gotta think demand subsides.

That mostly came about because of the boat loads of surplus ammunition that flooded our markets for decades. It was just as cheap to shoot that stuff, maybe even cheaper than hand loading.

Handloading has never been done by the vast majority of shooters.

Shooters tend to be ''cheap basterds" when it comes to rifles and ammunition for the most part.

It never ceases to amaze me how many times I here it repeated at gun shows "I'm going to get a rifle from my Dad or Grandfather in a few years" and this is from people in their mid thirties. You can bet if they get any ammo with the rifle, the new owners won't purchase another round, unless they can dig it out of the mix boxes at gun shows or shops.

Hand loads are not trusted my many folks and considered to be evil alchemy by many.

Most shooters just can't be bothered to put in the time to learn the bits of required knowledge to hand load and hey, just think of how much beer or weed can be purchased for the price of the equipment
