I was talking to a few guys the other day( in a gun store) that tell me that there is no wolfs in our area. WMU 73 I really did'nt know to agree or disagree. I have seen lots of yotes and What I call brush wolfs that may be half dog half yote? COY? spelling?
I have also saw, 2 times what i believe was a big wolf. North east of Port Perry. The first time a friend was with me, the second time by myself. Really big. First one ran infront of my car just missed it.
I would like to know what other peope have to say. Where is the southern most part where wolves can survive in Ontario. In the wild not the ZOO!
It's funny! as I had a guy tell me that there is no moose south of bancroft . Yet again! I see a Cow and a calf run down my road last year. I live way way south of bancroft. One was killed by the cops in Oshawa last fall. Are there Timber Wolves is Southern Ontario ? Although not great #s ? I think they are here in WMU 73
Tikka.

Then again until I saw for myself ? I would say the same thing. Alot of wildlife live in and about the Marsh Southeast of Lake Scugog. Do you think What my budy and I saw could have been a Timber wolf? Anyone else see one in WMU73 Scugog area?
