For those with a Beretta 92s

These will work. The label says 92FS, but there IS a cutout at the bottom for the 92s. Tenda, Ganon sports have them in stock right now

I have promags for my 92fs. Never had a problem with any of them. I admit I prefer mec gar mags if given the choice, but if they work for the 92s go for it. I would buy 1 to try though. The ones I wouldn’t touch with a 10 ft. Pole are triple k
 
What's wrong with the Pro Mags vs Mec Gars for a 92s?
Genuine question. The 92s was the only handgun I was able to purchase on Oct 20th before the ban happened and I'd like to get more educated on making sure the only handgun I'd possibly ever own lasts for as long as possible lol

I'm making a shopping list of things to buy while I wait for the transfer to be approved
 
Mec Gar makes factory Beretta mags. They definitely make sig mags and a number of other manufacturers mags

It is true that Mec-Gar makes the OEM for many gun manufacturers, but Beretta claims to make their own magazines. And it is notable that while Beretta factory 92 mags do have the notch for the 92S, Mec-Gar mags do not.

This for me is important to know before I spend money on magazines that may not even be compatible with the 92S haha

That is a easy fix with a dermal and a small cutting blade

For someone with access to those tools and enough experience to be comfortable with cutting a notch on the magazines cleanly, definitely. Easy fix! An argument can be made that the majority of the people in this forum can easily do that--and major respect to that

But that's not the case of some people like myself and other people just getting into firearms. I don't have access to a dremel tool--and if I bought/borrowed one, I wouldn't be confident enough to make a clean notch into the thing and probably end up destroying it lol
I watched the youtube video and I know enough about myself to expect I'd destroy 5 mags before getting one "decent" one :d

Can you change a spare tire on your vehicle? If so, Iam sure you could notch a mag for a 92s, even if you didn't have a Dremel you could do an angle cut into a corner with a nice sqaure file. If you have a mag to reference it should be easy peasy. If not I seen a fellow selling 7 stainless 92fs mags in the EE, they had the cut out for the 92s
