Hydro Graphics for gun stock

Looking for any input for hydro graphics for gun stocks. Has anybody had experience with this? Does it peal off over time? Does it chip easily? Does anybody have recommendations on a company that will dip a stock?

The camo or whatever pattern that is water transferred to the stock is very soft. What makes a dipped stock durable is a spray of clear coat after dipping. The stock below was done by Southwest Hydrographics since they are only 45 minutes away from me. He uses satin finish automotive clear coat from a spray can, and in 8 years I have yet to have a single mark on the stock. I am NOT gentle with it either. I have had several others done with same results. Another company to recommend is Lambton Coatings.

One other note, the surface or material you dip also determines durability. If you dip a standard synthetic tupperware, or soft wood stock that is able to be dented, the finish is not going to stop that. My stock below is a mcmillan hunters edge carbon fiber, with epoxy or similar speckle paint that I dipped over.

OK, Thanks for your response. My stock is a hard, dense plastic stock (although not exactly sure what it is). But from what you mentioned it should take well to the hydrographics. I'll be sure to check those companies out
 
I’ve visited the Kool Koatings shop in Belleville with a friend picking up his Browning that had the poor factory soft touch finish on it. They did an awesome job and they were in the process of doing hundreds of new Savage stocks for the Savage factory near Peterborough. I wouldn’t hesitate using them and I have no association with them.
