If it's not painfully obvious to you by now I don't know what else to tell you. They don't give a $hit about gang bangers having guns, it's the general populace they want disarmed.
 
Its been established that what criminals do or don't do has nothing to do with legal firearm owners are allowed to do or not do.

Logic, facts etc have absolutely nothing to do with it.

Simple Rule if its allowed:

1) If you are a criminal you can do what you want.
2) If you are anyone else its not allowed
 
Are you asking if antique status with the current exemptions is going to be cancelled?

Forget gang members shooting flintlocks. How about a gangbanger with an antique revolver rechambered to .45ACP?

Look at all the discussion here about antique revolvers being used for "bush carry". Do you really think that Justin is going to leave this loophole unplugged?
 
Well, they are banning airsoft toys let alone "flintlocks,percussion and cap/ball pistols". All firearms are on chopping block untill this dictatorship is thrown out of Canada
 
Any pistol that has been loaded and/or fired is no longer considered an antique and must be registered. If manufactured after 1898 it's not an antique. You can figure out the rest.

This is incorrect this video only shows that reproductions of flintlock pistols and single action revolvers are now banned. If you own a colt single action made in the 1870s in 41 long colt that handgun is not part of the freeze on restricted handguns because it is under different laws in the firearms act since it is an antique firearm. If you own a flintlock pistol made in France from 1840 that is still legal to go out and shoot with no license or range requirements. There is alot of wrong info being presented here.

All of these handguns you see in this link are 100% legal to own and even shoot with no license in Canada. Anywhere you can shoot a non restricted firearm you can shoot these. The liberals did not touch these at all in these ridiculous bans.

Get yourself one learn how to reload and go enjoy it wherever you have a safe backstop :)
 
True but originals and reproductions are functionally the same and it's already ridiculous that they are treated completely differently.
Thousands of flintlock pistols are being banned/frozen by this government already.
