Paint job, yeah or neah?

I Just finished painting my Bansner stock after hunting season. Don't ask me why I felt the need, but I wanted to freshen her up a bit before I put her on the EE. The paints are all Krylon and it is sealed with Krylon Clear epoxy. Take a peak. The finish is rock freakin`hard now, and I kinda like it. I like the utilitarian idea of these high quality composite stocks, let me know what you think.

I like the design but just not the paint colours. Not a big fan of the orange, but I do like the style.

I think it look's alright . I get tired of the same old crap, blued on grey, or stainless on grey. It's a unique pattern that nobody else has, of course I'm probably not going to buy it. I guess you'll find out who likes it on the EE, and how much they like it. That's where it will really count.

i like the before pic much better as well.
honestly, 99.99999% of the time painting a stock some funky camo scheme lowers the value, rather than increasing it. that said, it looks like you did a good job. shame its not my cup of tea - no offense intended

myself, i prefer a flat black or simple flat OD green.

SC, I can't find anything green in this part of the world come hunting season, so I had to do something different.

Well, I guess I'll go get some sand paper.....(slumped shoulders).....and some beer, and have some fun doing this all over again!

I think I'll stick with the sand, but use brown, and maybe white for the striping. I like the pattern, and the colors make me think Christmas in Afghanistan.

The stripper thong comment was just low though man, very low.

I betcha if I could make this gun go semi BR would by it.........

if you want to sell it on the EE you might be better off with a solid color - and something with a wide appeal like a charcoal or OD

Um, my opinion...fun to shoot, just wouldn't tell your friends!

I think its more the colours though personally than the patern.

I seriously have a pair of boxers with exactly that pattern on it!!! Brown/green leaves.... I'll post a pick if I think of it (without me in them, obviously).
