Unfortunately, I was too short sighted to save a copy. It's damn cool though.
That project,nicknamed the K14(short 14) has been put on the back burner for a bit.We have another project on the go for a local PD.It's a suppressed M4 that is the same length as a standard issue M4 with the suppressor on.And no its not a particularly short barrel.They are looking for a containment rifle that can be fired from inside a vehicle without hearing pro.GV has designed it from scratch and IT IS QUIET! Anyways its completely different from anything else made so far and incorperates some of the technology from the K14 into it.Might have a pic or even a video in the next few weeks if I'm lucky.

I wonder if the vehicle in question was built by a guy I worked with.
He showed me photos of various projects he was part of as a fabricator for the city of Van. One was a tactical ERT team truck that is designed to all a shooter to fire out of the rear.

There are lots of scenarios where you might need to shoot from inside a vehicle or other enclosed area like a stairwell,however I think they were talking about a stopped vehicle.And protecting the officers hearing is a big deal.

Well we did some testing yesterday and all I can say at this point is that the new AR surpased all our expectations.It is quiet!Now that we have some basic decibel readings we are on to the next phase where we get readings from some much more technical equipment in an enclosed space.More to follow!
