I replaced a front sight on my beretta A350, and it ended up removing a couple of chunks of the factory camo, and now you see the metal/primer underneath. Is there a certain kind of paint you need to buy to repair these spots ??

Acrylic craft paints work fine if it's just a small area. Or can use any metal friendly spray paint (spray onto a piece of cardboard and use a brush to pickup paint and touch up the gun). I've used the Krylon "camouflage" spray paint from Canadian Tire to do entire guns and stocks, and it wears very well.

If you have a hobby or model shop nearby they should have a wide range of paints, small spray cans and little bottles you can use for brushing on or airbrushing. Any model shop with military models will have a lineup of camo paints that should work well for touch ups.

True camo paints have a particular flat quality that is probably seen on your shotgun. Depending on how large the area you want to retouch is, you might want to invest in a spray can or two or three of camo paint from Rustoleum; I never saw any harm in keeping some around. I may be wrong but I believe the Krylon paints already suggested are made for plastic models, but check all of them out.

I was forgetting that I was once advised that if I ever painted up a gun with camo paint, I should later look for the same brand of paint's flat clear coat spray paint to make it more durable, so let me add that now. Again, I don't know how large the area you're talking about so it may not be worthwhile.

Rusto camo paint is good quality but not true to real camo colors I’ve always found, Krylon camo if you can find it anywhere is much more true in colour. Shame nobody seems to carry Krylon anymore, Home Hardware used to be the last but they don’t seem to anymore.
