Remington 870 14 inch 12 gauge barrel availability and used prices

Are Factory 14" barrels available at any Canadian Dealers, I have one from a few years ago off a TAC-14 I never used and cant seem to find a dollar value to put on it.

I don't want to give it away but don't want to gouge anyone in these tough times.

I'm sure its a repetitive question and apologize in advance for wasting peoples time but would be grateful for an answer

S&J hardware pumps out 14" 870 builds and they have some listed currently ( last I checked). Give them a call and find out what they sell for. Should help you come up with a price.

So probably somewhere near that figure. OP, where are you located? I may be interested but I don't bother to order anything in anymore, local or bust for me. I am in the GTA.

Since there are no more available at this time, it is worth about $275 to $350. The last ones we had in on consignment sold for $350 in a matter of days.

Oh wow. I've always wanted a 16" 870 with flush length magazine extension.

I've never seen or even heard of a 16" bbl for an 870. Now I have to find one!

With a 14" barrel a one shot extension is flush with the end of the barrel. so a two shot extension would not be flush with the end of a 16" barrel

Gone up? They’ve never really gone down in value. 14” barrels have been fetching $300+ the last two decades. I believe SFRC was parting out some police trade ins, that would account for the lower cost.

A Tac 14 barrel won’t fetch as much as one from a Police model but I’m willing to guess that it’s still up there. Saw one listed on the EE recently for $250 and I assume it didn’t last long.

Iirc the +2 extension is flush with an 18.5” barrel and the +3 flush with a 20”

The Remington 2rd extension is flush with 18.5”. Most others like Scattergun Tech, Vang Comp, etc are flush with the older 18” length.

The last 2 I bought were $265 - and they're still sitting in the basement in their boxes. I bought them before the short PG's were available, but they're the same description - cylinder bore with pedestal beads.

OEM Remington TAC 14 12ga & 20ga Bbls were offered directly from Remington w/ 700 rifle sights 5-6 years ago that were Modified choked instead of the standard Cylinder bored pedestal/bead front sight Bbls.
