Just got off the phone with Miramichi and all my transfers up to july 19(last business purchase) and my only private on july 23 have been put through them-the backlog is in Orillia.

Private sale in Aug, buyer got ref#, I tried but we both agreed to cancel sale as the one he really wanted became available. I never cancelled the ref #, just got a letter requesting info on my part to complete transfer. I have until Jan 29/23 to complete. So anyone with a ref # will get their toy.

Pretty much not. The transfer has been started, but it will have your name/PAL associated with it, as well as the buyer. You would need a new transfer number to initiate a different transfer, so that's limited to applicable ATC holders and exempted businesses/individuals.

ON private to private approved today - weird email, didn’t have the registration certificate like I usually get from CFO once a transfer is complete..

Were you the seller or buyer? Seller does not get a registration certificate.

It was a trade so I believe the buyers went through before mine - hopefully i get the certificate tomorrow or early this week.
