I mean, it’s a really pretty gun but it’s got someone else’s name on it - and it’s a 9 year old edc that likely has thousands of miles on it. I can say with no small amount of confidence that I’d be hard pressed to pay US$50k for anybody’s 1911 - even if it is pretty.

A few years ago , when he had his program on TV, he was just getting into building this stuff.
I don't like the look, will it shoot a 10X ring all day long?? that is the question.
He was shooting some , but don't remember how they did .
He was doing up a AR , but any kid can put one of those together.

not my cup of tea personally. I like simple high quality classic 1911's with tight fitting high strength parts like the ones i make for my own personal use. I indulge in mammoth ivory grips but never stray from classic lines with a rust blued finish and never any engraving. The overdone 1911's like this look like some cartel or mexican mafia type deal that i find tacky.
