I was late to get into Glock

So I was pretty late jumping onto the Glock fanbus until the ban was announced. Picked up a Glock 17 Gen 5 MOS and am smitten by it. Wish I'd picked one up way sooner.

Had always wanted a Glock 34. With the ban, I can't now till there's an election to correct this.... or can I?


Can I buy a complete upper for a Glock 34 gen 5 anywhere in Canada? Anyone point me at a link to a retailer? If I can buy everything to fit my 17 gen 5 frame, that'll help satisfy my craving
 
Finding it is hard and will be expensive. The frames are cheap relative to slides. I would expect ~$800 for a 34 complete slide. All 34 gen 5 slides are MOS so they have the MOS premium. 34 complete slides are about $550 USD and no restrictions on importing them.
 
I suggest you stick to dealers on this site. There are scammers out there with "inventory" that will happily take your money. One I hear of is gunkit reportedly making no small effort to look legit on places like #######.

Irunguns.com will sell you the gun then import it minus the serialized frame. You will get everything else. This is the best route to take currently in Canada.

I just did this actually to convert my Glock 17 to a 34. It was definitely cheaper than buying aftermarket. I wanted a factory Glock slide which they don’t sell. So this was my best option to get one. It will take me seconds to swap from a 17 to 34 now with a complete factory slide.
