Looks like numrich now has OEM mags, not just their house brand, and they ship to Canada legally.

I ordered a couple, will advise on what I get. Likely they will be worn but functional.

Yes, it seems so. They processed my order, but I don't think my parcel has shipped yet.

If anything, I worry CBSA will hold it at the border.

Didn't know they had stopped.

They had stopped shipping to Canada during covid, they had it listed on the site, not sure if it's still there, I had made an order during that time and got an email a day later saying they were no longer shipping to Canada because of covid, didn't make alot of sense to me.

I got aftermarket m1951 mags from them last month, no issue.

Huh. Business decisions I guess.

In other news, the mags shipped today. I see no reason why I wouldn't get the 2 OEM mags I ordered when the 2 Numrich branded mags for the same pistol flew right through the border 2 months ago when I ordered them.

Hopefully the ones I get are decently serviceable.

well my mags arrived safely, but I have to now recommend people NOT order any OEM beretta 1951 mags from numrich's current batch. What I received was pretty disappointing, and I got dinged $40 in border fees to boot.

Mag 1 - real M1951 mag, but someone took a grinder to the base plate and ground the finger rest off roughly. Techncially it's functional, but looks noting like the ad photos and trying to grip the gun without the finger rest is a bit awkward to say the least.

Mag 2 - khyber pass mag. clearly hand made magazine, rough file marks all over it. It inserts in the gun (a bit too tightly). The base plate and button look to be nickel plated Walther P38 parts (!?!). Definitely not a real beretta magazine. The aluminum follower also looks hand made and I have my doubts if it would actually function in the gun.

I've written to GPC with photos to ask them WTF!? If I have to return them, I don't know if US customs will let them back into the USA, and fighting with CBSA for my $40 would be a real treat. Maybe I can at least get them to send me some proper unmolested base plates or something?

At least the repro mags I got from GPC last month seem to work OK, despite the plastic followers.
