The CZ 457 Thread

That looks real nice ! I hope the one I ordered has wood as nice as yours ! Looks good with the weathered wood background . Now THE QUESTION . How does it shoot ?

The CZ 457 Varmint arrived yesterday if it shoots as good as it looks I will be impressed . It has a really nice dark walnut stock , and fit and finish looks great to this novice .

The metal CZ magazines are not problematic. If someone reads a thread on a firearms forum that someone had a problem with one, doesn't mean all CZ metal magazines have an issue.

On the premium CZ 452 Farewell Edition the magazines are metal. Prior to the 455 series, CZ magazines were metal. The switch to polymer was one of economy, nothing else.

Okay Im going to come right out and ask , PM me if you like . Who stocks magazines for the 457 ? There I did it and I don’t feel the least bit guilty for asking

^^ stop searching for 457 mags. Last bunch i bought, it still said 452/455 on the box. Theyre all the same mag. Plastics are great. Metal ones are fine. Buy what you find, you wont go wrong either way.
 
Yea currently the CZ 452 455 457 512 magazines for 22lr are all out of stock everywhere it seems. My friend was looking for a polymer one after trying mine, because the metal ones don't work for his BRNO
I told him if he really wants it now he can go to the CZ parts website and order from overseas. I ordered a muzzle brake from them and it came in a few weeks.
