CZ 452 Farewell Edition

I've always been interested in acquiring a CZ 452, but they are no longer in production. Then I saw the Farewell Edition that was being produced in a limited run of 1000. I managed to purchase one, 888 of 1000. Sounds lucky doesn't it? I found a used Leupold glossy 3.5-10x40 and set it up. Went out to the range today for the initial trial using cheap .22lr ammo, Federal auto match. I was very pleased with the results. The one hole four shot group measured .009 at 50 yards with the fifth shot dropping left and down out of group. I didn't even think that ammo would be capable of that. I did add a Yo Dave spring.

That is one nice rifle. They really put some extra care into the bluing on those. It's deep, rich and smooth.

Maybe the next run will be the Auf Wiedersehen line.

FWIW, the number 8 on it's side denotes infinity.

I have also heard that 8 is the number of Christ.

That would seem to suggest that you have an eternally blessed and holy rifle.

On a side note, I wonder who got 0666?
