My neighbor bought a box of 20 before hunting season, didn't ask what kind or where he bought it, but said it was $100 with tax for 20 rounds.
I get about 115 rounds loaded out of a pound of powder, at the prices I paid for components pre- insanity I'm at less then $1 a round.

You are really late to the party, there have been shortages for over a year now, and selection virtually dried up last spring/summer. That is why you don't let your stock run low, and go shopping in the fall, when you need ammunition to hunt.

If your having a hard time finding 7mm at the big name hunting stores you may want to take a look at Canadian tire, peavey mart or you may have better luck if you can find a mom and pop store. Tge first 2 stores I mentioned always have 7mm when I've been in there which is fairly often. Good luck in your search

There was a bunch of selection at Cabela's this weekend, looks like it just arrived midway through deer season. It wasn't there last week! Mostly 140 and 150 gr stuff.
I always hang on to my 7-mag stuff (ammo and dies) since I never seem to go too long without one. Over the summer I snagged a few boxes of 150gr core lokt factory ammo to add to my stash and sure enough, I ended up buying a T3X laminate in 7-mag this fall.

I don't think that I have ever had a problem finding 7mm-RM ammo. I don't have a rifle chambered in that caliber anymore, so maybe I am not up to speed on the latest shortages.
